Daycare Requirements

VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL DOGS AT 41K9...

Rabies, Distemper, Bordetella (kennel cough), and Canine Influenza* (H3N2 & H3N8) vaccines must be up-to-date. All puppies regardless of age require the same vaccinations. All clients are responsible for providing 41K9 Staff with relevant vaccine paperwork from your dog's vet office. Our staff needs to see the vaccine renewal dates (due dates) for your dog's vaccines.

***If this will be your dog's first time receiving the Canine Influenza vaccination, there is a waiting period of 5 or 10 days after they receive their second dose before they can come in for their temperament test at our facility. The second round would be administered from either 2-3 weeks after the first round; there's a 10 day waiting period for the 2 week window, and 5 day wait for the 3 week window. So in order to come to doggy daycare, your pets must have the first round and the second round of the flu vaccination as well as a complete minimum wait time of the 5 or 10 days after receiving the second round.

Still not sure? Email us with any questions! As always with your dog's health your primary communication should always be with their vet office.

SPAYED OR NEUTERED:

For the safety of all of our dogs, every dog over the age of six months must be spayed or neutered.

TEMPERAMENT ASSESSMENT:

Not all dogs are comfortable in a largely social environment. To ensure that all dogs play together safely, 41K9 requires you to schedule a Temperament Test for your dog.

Our staff spends time getting to know your dog and talking to you about your dog’s experiences and history. He/she is then gradually introduced to the play group while we carefully observe his/her reactions. There is a $10 charge per pet for the test visit. With a passed test this will then be credited to your account to use for future daycare or boarding visits.
